"Mexican Stand-off"

2 person teams try to get as many reps as possible of Burpees in a 10 minute time limit. You can only do Burpees while your team mate holds a barbell (135#/95#) overhead. Once the bar hits the ground, you must switch movements.

Coaching Tips: Scale load and movement to fit  your current fitness level. Modify when needed. The person holding the barbell can rest it in the front rack position, but the other team mate cannot perform any Burpees while it rests there. The idea is to get as many Burpees as possible. Wow, what a great turnout for the Free Class yesterday.  Aubrey, Rita, Sandy, Francisco, Shawn, Andrea, and Laura, it was great to meet you.  You all performed well and we hope you enjoyed your workout as much as we enjoyed having you here.  Thank you Ed, Carly, Alexis, Catherine, Jeff, Bernice, and Mallory for inviting your friends and family and introducing them to the awesome experience that is CrossFit.
