For motivation for this workout, watch some of the Herculean efforts being put out at the Bejing Olympics. The athletes doing the Olympic lifts, the Clean and Jerk, the Snatch, display such a tremendous amount of pure power. It’s amazing how much power they generate from an aggresive hip drive and how quickly they get under the bar, if you blink you’re going to miss it. Let’s go for some PR’s.

We had quite a few PR’s go up on the board. A few guys under 200# cleaning over 200#. With a couple of more practice sessions the loads will grow by leaps and bounds. One last thing, after all those O-lifts, 3 people were sucessful at getting their first muscle-ups. CONGRATS to Lisa, Greg and Chris for getting your a**es up over those rings.
