Way to go Teshina. That’s very impressive. You are peaking just right.
Congrats to JoJo and Newman for getting in their final preparations for the Regionals by doing a sprint triathlon. JoJo came in 5th place in his age gruop. At print time it was not posted what Newman’s place was. He said survival was of the utmost concern. Good job boys.
Thanks Pablo. Kudos to JoJo who took my brother’s place in the sprint triathlon on 1 days notice and with giddiness and excitement I might add.
JoJo placed 100th overall out of 900 with a time of 1:02:16 and did 2/3 (swim/bike) of the race in his underwear because he forgot his wetsuit at home. SERIOUSLY! Funny enough but nobody really noticed because those endurance athletes wear goofy things anyway.
I placed 319th overall (37th in my age group) with a time of 1:11:24. But let me just say that I spent several minutes kissing the ground when I got done with the swim! My people got over here IN BOATS! Those of us that had to swim didn’t make it. Swimming SUCKED! Literally, I sucked up half the bay.
Thanks again to Pablo for coaching us up and lending us those high speed bikes. They were awesome.
I am impressed with this website, really I am a big fan.
