I wanted to thank everyone from CrossFit East County for their generosity
and kindness over the weekend in participating and donating money to the
fundraiser event.  The "Shawn" fundraiser WOD was to raise money for
Shawn Webb and his family to assist them in dealing with Shawn's recent
diagnosis of a brain tumor.  I did not personally know Shawn, but I felt
that it was important that I do what I could to assist a fellow law
enforcement officer in need, especially one from East County.  When I
approached Paul about helping with the fundraiser, he did not hesitate
to assist.  Honestly, I was hoping that we could raise $500 to donate to
the Webb Family.  I was absolutely blown away when I counted the money
and found out that the CrossFit East County family donated $1,090 to the
cause.  That is awesome!  Paul always talks about the "family" we have
at CFEC, and the "family" stepped up on a huge way.  Thank you to all of
you!
