Coaching Tips: Scale load and movements to match your current fitness level. Important things to keep in mind during KB swings, keep your chest up and use a big hip drive to move the load. Let your forearms hit your upper thighs and this will ensure that the KB stays above your knees. This will help keep your chest up even more. If you use those helpful ques when the KBs get heavier, you will be more efficient and less likely to injure yourself in the process. 30/30 push press reads: 30 seconds of work followed by 30 seconds static hold overhead. Twice. 30/30 AirDyne reads: 30 seconds all out followed by 30 seconds rest. Twice. 3 times total. For those following at home without an AirDyne, use a rower set on 10.
Check it out!!! They finally updated the rankings for the sectionals and Anniken made 18th, and I made 24th (these rankings include Kristen Clever’s ranking)! Here’s the site: http://scores2010.crossfit.com/scoring/p/90/
AWESOME!!!!!! I have to admit, this weekend was really tough physically and emotionally, but I am so happy I did it, and so happy to have such amazing athletes to share the CFEC name with!!! Thanks for amazing show of support and encouragement!
Oh, and I look a beast in that picture! Haha!
What a cluster…. Can it get more confusing? Tony, hold the presses on the banner.

Amelia YOU ARE A BEAST! You look like one of those circus strong men getting ready to bend that bar in half. The only thing you’re missing is the leopard print cave man suit and waxed, handle bar mustache.
Hey anybody that came out to watch sectionals we’re looking for our white Flip video camera. It was being handed around during the last workout to try and get video of all of our athletes at various spots along the course.
Figure it inadvertantly ended up in somebody’s gym bag at tear down time. So, if you don’t mind checking around. There’s some good evidence of cruelty to 2 legged animals on there. Thanks, Newman
